Designed by Richard Hawkes, founder of Hawkes architecture, Crossway is one of the first officially certified Passive houses in the UK. The building explores the uniqueness of 'place' as well as harnessing solar energy to generate all its own electricity and thermal energy.
The building demonstrates how contemporary design can celebrate local materials and crafts and integrate new technologies to produce a highly sustainable building that sits lightly on the Earth

19th April 2010. Photo taken be me being raised on the arm of the digger. Duncan, our landscaper from Beauview Landscapes (07801 384554) ! says he always forgets to get before, progress and after photos of projects so i’m left to do it for him ! and risk life & limb in the process ! Here the entrance path is taking shape. No more confusion of where to go.
